Sticker App (UI Design)

After having most of the basic brand assets done, I wanted to expand more on the company out of curiosity and seer fun.

So I went ahead to explore the realm of UX UI design. Learning and exploring as I go, from wireframing, designing , prototype testing. Lots of trials and errors, especially prototype wiring and testing, but it has been a great experience to see how it interact, fuelling me to be patient and continue the grind. As they say, mess around and find out!

Camera Scanning Function (Filters Wheel)

Scanner allows filters to let users adjust the colour tone to their liking.

During production, I've always envisioned that this brand's main objective is to let users to collect their daily memento as a digital copy for later use or reminiscence. Thus, I included a camera scanning function to let user to scan, digitalised, vectorised the assets in real-time with Ai assistance along with artists approval. Giving life to visuals, collecting mementos.

Sticker Gallery (Collection View)

Within the app, users have the freedom to create their own collection from their scanning. Having the liberty to categorise stickers within the gallery section. Coming up with names for each sticker, writing down the time it was collected, to even jotting down how and where they acquire the memento. Making this app, this brand to be your personal visual journal or scrapbook. The perfect all-in-one personal keepsake for your memories.

Reflection

This project once again reminds me the various assets needed when it comes to branding. Reminding me to be mindful of both functionality and aesthetic works in balance when it comes to visual communication. While also taking heavy inspiration from stickers, being attentive to the minute qualities of stickers. So once I refocus, everything comes naturally, giving birth to a really fun brand that matching the target audience's identity while expressing appropriate brand personality. Overall a smooth sailing of making once I further honed in on the objective and necessary assets.

Till the end, it has been a pleasure to create this brand. I am satisfied with how it turned out. Throughout the process, there were a lot of times I was dangerously close to overcrowding the negative space with colours. So I have learnt to prevent these occurrences by going around asking for second opinions, gaining complete different perspectives with unbiased lens, which is a win-win situation as I become even more welcome to collaboration with dynamic creatives.

Also this brand have once again enlightened me that anything can be made into a fun design. Anything and everything can be a design if you play around with it enough! Peel n' Paste still amazes me as it all started from a little thought of wanting to keep my old laptop stickers.
